- Q. Why Beach Volleyball?
A. Playing beach volleyball is one of the best ways to improve your skills for indoor volleyball. Benefits include better communication and confidence, more power and speed to jump higher and more repetitions and ball contacts on the beach lead to better overall ball control.
Beach Volleyball is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. - Q. Must I sign up with a partner?
A. For Fall, Winter or Summer Clinics and Camps ...No. In fact we encourage everyone to play with diffent partners as much as possible.
For the Zephyr Beach Club, athletes must to sign up with a partner. - Q. Are BVA clinics and camps Children´s Fitness Tax Credit eligible?
A. Yes. Refer to this Parks and Recreation Ontario document which outlines the tax credit specifics. - Q. Can parents or friends come to watch?
A. Yes. We love spectators at our clinics. Bring a beach chair and sun screen to the beach. - Q. What if the weather is bad at Port Stanley Beach?
A. In the rare case that a clinic must be cancelled due to weather, we will try to reschedule it at the first convenient date. - Q. May I purchase a gift certificate for a session or camp?
A. Certainly! Full or partial gift certificates may be purchased for all sessions and camps.
Gift certificates may be used for BVA mercandise too! (BVA caps, t-shirts, etc). Simply e-mail shaun@beachvolleyballacademy.com. - Q. Can I bring a friend to try the clinics?
A. Yes. But please notify us in advance. There is limitied space for guests (cost:$15/guest),
plus a signed Waiver is required for all guests 18 years of age or under. - Q. How can I acquire cool BVA merchandise?
A. BVA Apparel & Merchanise can now be ordered online, or, if you are a BVA member,
simply ask any instructor at your next clinic. If not, e-mail shaun@beachvolleyballacademy.com. - Q. Other questions?
