Steve started his volleyball career in the summer of 1999 playing for the Southwest Region 3 team.
He continued to play for Region 3 for 4 more years after that taking part in 2 Ontario summer games.
In 2002 he was selected for team Ontario. From 1999 until 2002 Coach Steve played club volleyball for
Forest City winning 2 provincial championship and attending a number of national championships both east and west.
Steve played 1 year in 2003 with the Waterloo Tigers and 1 year 2004 with the Mac volleyball club.
Steve played at Saunders Secondary school for 5 years went to OFFSA twice and got a bronze medal.
He received the Al Coulter Mr Volleyball award in 2003.
Steve started playing beach volleyball in 2002 he and his partner attended beach nationals in Quebec city.
He played 1 more year of beach in 2003 and then decided to focus all of his time on his indoor game.
Steve played at McMaster University from 2003 until 2007. While there he was awarded the OUA rookie of the year award.
He was named to the CIS all rookie team. He was a two time OUA second team all star.
He played in 1 CIS national championship. Volleyball continues to be a passion of coach Steve's he has assisted
as a coach at Saunders with the senior boys team and has coached several summer camps for the
Brownlee's and at McMaster.
