• your most memorable summers in sport start here

Twenty summers ago, this all started with a simple idea: introduce youth to the game that has given us so much - and do it outside, learning, connecting, and loving the experience of summer in the sand.

That purpose has never changed. We want kids to feel like kids - moving, competing, and building friendships in the fresh air, away from screens.

As we head into our 20th summer, we’re re-committing to our standard of being the most competitive beach volleyball club in Canada, built on two decades of experience and development.

We’re excited to introduce 3 streams of programming that meet your child wherever they are in their beach volleyball game.

Check out the descriptions, mark your calendars, and get ready for a special summer outside.

We can’t wait to celebrate our 20th summer with you!

Zephyr High Performance

Zephyr High Performance team is a high-performance beach volleyball program designed for motivated 15U–18U athletes who are ready to commit to full-time, high-level training in the sand.

This program represents the evolution of our former Tournament Team, expanding both the training frequency and the support environment for athletes with aspirations beyond local competition. Zephyr High Performance is built for athletes focused on long-term development, provincial and national competition, and post-secondary volleyball pathways.

Training will take place three times per week, with structured technical sessions, game-play development, and additional support in areas such as competition planning, nutrition, and mental performance. The program is led by experienced, certified coaches and is designed to complement — not compete with — provincial and national team pathways.

Please note this program is not first-come, first-served. Athletes will apply to the program, either with a partner or individually, and selections will be made based on competitive experience, performance level, and demonstrated high-performance habits.

Zephyr Competitive

Beach season is here! The Zephyr Competitive stream is the core of our beach club and caters to all players looking to up their game in the sand. These practices will be focused on fundamentals, working with a teammate, and on understanding strategy for competition in tournament play. Athletes will experience skills, drills, and game play situations to get better at all things beach. If you have some experience with volleyball (played on your school team? Club team? Plans to play a tourney or 2 this summer? Just love the game and want to hone your skills?) – this is the right place for you.

Zephyr Intro to Beach

Curious about beach volleyball? Wanna give it a try? We’re really excited to help you! Zephyr’s Intro to Beach program is designed to introduce the game both to first timers and to athletes who have maybe played before but need a bit more time learning the basics. Athletes of all ages will learn and practice fundamentals - bump, set, spike - and will be taught about things like rules of the game, scoring, and playing with a partner. Having fun is a big priority here, and coaches will patiently help these athletes to feel more confident: both as players & as humans.
